¿Cuándo llegará ese día
en que los dejemos en paz?
Donde sus cuerpos
no sean objetos
y sus vidas valgan igual
Sabes que está mal usarlos
¡Pero prefieres callar!
es más fácil mirar a otro lado
y seguir en tu comodidad
¿Qué pasó con nuestra humanidad?
¡Si no los queremos salvar!
No nos pertenecen
¡No están aquí para ti!
tienen su propio valor
sin importar tu maldita opinión
¿Qué pasó con nuestra humanidad?
¡Si no los queremos salvar!
No voy a seguir viendo
todo este sufrimiento
Minimizado solo
a productos y recursos
¡Hazte cargo contra
toda esta injusticia!
La esclavitud animal
¡Necesita acabar!

Double standards:
When will the day come
When we leave them alone
Where their bodies are not objects
And their lives are worth the same
You know it's wrong to use them
But you prefer to keep quiet
It is easier to look elsewhere
And stay in your conformity
What happened to our humanity?
If we do not want to save them
They do not belong to us
They are not here for you
They have their own value
No matter your damn opinion
What happened to our humanity?
If we do not want to save them
I will not continue to see all this suffering
Minimized alone
To products and resources
Take charge against all this injustice
Animal slavery needs to end

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
